A Joyful Community.

Our active Church community is engaged in a variety of outreach programs.

As part of the United Methodist Church, we participate in a coordinated response to human need all over the world.  The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) helps all of us with awareness and response to those needs.

Our congregation in Wilton is offered choices and opportunities to respond with finances, time, and material to additional projects.  Recently, these have included:

On-going missions include:

  • "Midnight Run" serving homeless in the New York City with New Canaan United Methodist Church
  • Thailand orphanage through missionary Joseph Hong & Nan Ha Kim
  • New York Annual Conference Disaster Response - Hurricane Katrina Relief Mission Trips in August 2006 and February 2007 & Hurricane Sandy Relief Work
  • Wilton Social Services - ongoing support, with collection box for specific items
  • Gift Sharing with the elderly and with families at Christmas
  • Thanksgiving basket for Wilton Social Services
  • Washington, DC, Soup Kitchen - Zion's Hill youth provide assistance in cooperation with local DC churches

We make every effort to have mission awareness and participation a priority and available to all age groups.
